C.J. Hill currently lives in Amherst Massachusetts, where he is earning an MFA in the studio arts program at UMass Amherst. Born 1990 in New York state, He has been an artist in residence at the Lijiang Studio in Lashi-Hai, China, the Atlantic mills artist collective in Providence, Rhode Island, and the Art Farm Residency program in Nebraska. He has exhibited his work in New York, Rhode Island and abroad. As an artist, he strives to make drawing an adventurous and empathetic act.
